I'm the "King Of The World" at least that's how I felt. This is me in the new PRO-FM Control Room circa 1977. Notice the Ampex 350, three turntables on the right and the RCA BC-5 board!

Gary Berkowitz, Robert J. Boogie (The Boogie Man) and Neil Sedaka in the original PRO-FM Control Room in summer 1976. This was before we renamed the station PRO-FM. It was then known as WPRO-FM 92!

This shot was taken in the early 80's at a WROR/Boston promotion. That's Mike Addams who at the time was PD at WROR and now handles mornings on WMJX, Boston!

Donny Osmond visits Q95 to promote "Sacred Emotion" sometime in 1989. This was taken in the station's lobby on Greenfield and Ten Mile Road.

This is the one and only JP McCarthy! Joe was WJR's famous morning personality. To his right is Meteorologist John McMurray. This shot was taken in our new production room in the Fisher building during the taping of a TV spot being produced by Bill Aydelott. The year, sometime around 1987.
This shot was taken in front of the Fisher Building, Detroit while I was PD at WJR. On my left is then afternoon talent, Joel Alexander (who continues to fly their copter and report traffic) and Mid Day legend Jimmy Launce

College buds...we all went to Emerson College together, and we all ended up in Detroit! This is Fox 2's Murray Feldman and WJR's Joel Alexander from 1985 at a WHYT New Years party.

We all love control rooms. Here's what the first floor control room of 92 PRO-FM looked like in the mid to late 70's.

I'm not the Fonz! This picture was taken at the height of Henry Winkler's career as "The Fonz" on Happy Days. He was touring the country emceeing an oldies concert and agreed to co-host my afternoon drive show on PRO-FM with one stipulation. He will not talk about "The Fonz" He wanted to be Henry. Go figure!
This billboard sat on 95 south in downtown Providence on the roof of 24 Mason Street which housed the PRO stations until 1974. I stole the line (There's Always a Better Song on PRO-FM) from Rick Sklar at WABC! It always sounded great on the air, and really said something. We were in the middle of a heated battle with JB105 (WPJB) at the time.

Back at The Lite in Milwaukee! This is VP/GM Chuck DuCoty with then PD Stan Atkinson at WLTQ. Today Chuck is COO of NRG Media and Stan is the PD at WLDB in Milwaukee.
